what we believe
- We believe that the entire Bible is inspired by God, and that it is the
final authority for our faith and life

- We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin Mary, and is 100% God as well as being 100% man.
- We believe that God created man in his image and that man sinned, thereby
incurring the penalty of death - physical and spiritual. All human beings
inherit a sinful nature and all need a Saviour.
- No person can save themselves by good works. Only the death and shed blood
of Jesus Christ, Who was sinless, and Who died in our place, can save us,
as we trust in His death as a substitutionary sacrifice for us.
- We believe that all who repent of their sin, believe in and confess the
Lord Jesus Christ by faith, are forgiven and receive the “new birth”.
- We believe that Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead in a literal
body, that He ascended to heaven, and is alive right now.
- We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, and in His transforming
work the lives of believers.
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy
Spirit (including speaking in tongues) and that He enables and empowers
believers to live the lives that God intended.
- We believe that the true church is comprised of all those throughout the
earth who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, have been
redeemed by Him and have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that In accordance with the Word of God (Bible) in Galatians
3:28 and Ephesians 4:11, we do not discriminate as to gender, race or class,
but we recognize our total equality in Christ.
-
We believe in baptism, and take communion to be observed as acts of obedience,
and as a witness to Christian faith.
- Baptism symbolizes the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The
believer is commanded to be baptized as a public identification with
His death, burial and resurrection. Because of the symbolism of burial,
baptism is by total immersion in water, and not by sprinkling.
- Communion, or the Lord’s table, is partaking of bread and wine
as symbols of the Lord Jesus Christ’s broken body and shed blood.
It is obedience to Jesus’ command to do this in remembrance of
his sacrificial death until He returns.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back in person as He promised
and that our eternal destination of either
heaven or hell is determined by our response to Jesus Christ.
